Anyway, I found your above recipe on accident searching for easy chicken dishes. I have done it with legs, the part pointing down wont get the same effect, but In a pinch I have leaned the chicken thighs up against the side of the slow cooker to get more inside. Naomi September 18, 2016 2:17 PM Reply Do you remove the chicken from the slow cooker to another pan to set under the broiler for crisping the skin, or do you just place the whole slow cooker insert into the oven? Id be afraid to do that unless I knew it was okay for the ceramic insert.
